MAPAL spendet 2.300 Euro an das Maja-Fischer-Hospiz
Geldbetrag wird für die Betreuung schwerstkranker und sterbender Menschen verwendet
Mit einer Spende in Höhe von 2.300 Euro unterstützt die Belegschaft der MAPAL Dr. Kress SE & Co. KG das Maja-Fischer-Hospiz in Aalen-Ebnat. In der Einrichtung können schwerstkranke und sterbende Menschen palliativ betreut werden.
Around 95 percent of the costs for supporting the guests entrusted to the hospice are covered by the health insurance funds. The remaining expenses – between 70,000 and 75,000 euros per year – must be raised by the hospice itself due to legal requirements. For this reason, the hospice in Aalen-Ebnat also relies on donations.
The donation was made possible by employees at the company’s headquarters in Aalen, who were able to purchase roasted almonds and gingerbread at the company’s annual Christmas market for a small contribution. The amount of 2,300 euros was made available in full to the Maja Fischer Hospice as a donation. “It is important and valuable work that is being done there. That is why we are happy to support the hospice with this donation,” says Dr. Jochen Kress, Managing Director of MAPAL.
The hospice team is also pleased about the contribution: “We are very grateful that our work is recognized by companies, municipalities, and society in general. Only through donations like the one from MAPAL is it possible for us to continue providing palliative nursing and medical care for severely ill and dying people,” says Andreas Gröber, Head of Nursing at the Maja Fischer Hospice.
